always horribly awkward in front of my own nikon, but i do want to make a tradition of these museum photos. the van gogh exhibit there is ssssso good. had a wonderful time there today. a lot of his work actually reminded me of photography (composition + perspective-wise), and i kept commenting on it to my friend, and lo and behold, there was a mini-exhibit near the end about how he, and other painters, were very inspired by the development of photography. brings up interesting questions about whether life mimics art, or if art mimics life. i personally think it goes both ways—living life is itself, an art.

this past summer, i was lucky enough to have a job that took me to a lot of cool places. one such place was 7 WTC, where we got to have a tour of the new building by a representative of silverstein properties. it was reaaaallllly awesome. here’s a view i had of ground zero.

i’ve never been a big fan of small dogs, but i may be changing my mind (not to prefer them over big dogs), but not to automatically be prejudiced against them. :P

evenings in washington sq park = one of the chillest things i’ve ever experienced (although one time, cb and i got screamed at, and i mean screaaaamed, by this homeless man, and it was actually really scary because it looked like he was going to hit me. but that’s another story for another day)

i laughed to myself here, because someone rudely commented on how i’m a cliched stereotype (asian chick w/ dslr). i laughed because moments before, i’d poked fun at myself for the same exact thing.
